LA-based American alternative rock band OK Go played at the Bowery Ballroom the second of back-to-back nights in New York City. Having played the night before at Le Poisson Rouge, they tried to mingle a little bit more with the audience of the Ballroom, and somewhat changed the setlist in case there were members of the audience who attended both shows.

At the Bowery show, which lasted almost an hour an a half, OK Go played a mixture of old and new songs, including yet un-released tunes from their upcoming album Hungry Ghosts.

One constant during the whole set was the dialog that the members maintained with the audience, even making a whole part of the show a Q&A section where Damian (lead vocals and guitar) and Tim (bass and vocals) answered (in a pretty funny way, one may add) the questions of the audience.

Of course the other thing that the audience will never forget about the show was the crazy amount of confetti that was thrown throughout the concert and covered every member of the audience by the end of the night.

OK Go played at Fuji Rock Festival 2014 and they enjoyed it as much as the audience that packed the Red Marquee, so let’s hope that once the new album comes out, OK Go makes the trip back to Japan and plays a set of intimate club shows, such as the one at this one at the Bowery Ballroom.
