ゴースツのステージセッティングの最中に、PAの調子が悪いというのが発覚。どうあがいてもキーボードから音が出ない。ヴェニューの人もバンドのクルーも必死になってるのがわかる。最終的に何とか解決はしたが、元々時間割が大幅に遅れている上にPAの問題も重なって、なんと予定よりも2時間を上回る遅れで始まった。深夜営業の許可のあるヴェニューだというのと、このあと午前3時まで続くクラブに突入の予定だったので遅れに対する問題は無かったのだが。そして彼らの前に演奏したウィーアー・マーチング・オンと同じく、音がかなりひどい。そして2曲目で今度はベースの音が出なくなる．．．
ゴースツは聴きやすいポップな曲が中心。この日は彼らのポップさが最大に光ることはなかったと見れるが、時間も時間だったので観客達はかなり酔っ払っているらしく、音の問題にはあまり気をとめる様子もなし。一緒に歌う、叫ぶ、手拍子する、踊る、写真を撮る、周りの人を押す、友達と喋るを同時進行できるほどの勢いだった。 -->Rubik comment and photos by emi |
